How to Be Just and Live

 

 

 

Eze.18:5, 9  But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, . . . hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, . . . he shall surely live, . . .

[Isa.58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?]

 

 

 

 

Deut.24:12  And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:

13  In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, vs 8

 

 

Ex.23:8 And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

 

hath executed true judgment between man and man. vs 8

 

 

Ex.23:2,3 neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment: Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
